Maximum Beam Shaping with FAC and SAC Lenses 

FISBA is a pioneer in the development of high-efficiency Fast-Axis Collimators (FAC) and Slow-Axis Collimators (SAC). These components are decisive for the performance of modern diode laser systems.

  • FAC Lenses: Our Fast-Axis Collimators are characterized by an extremely high numerical aperture and minimal wavefront errors to ensure stable beam profiles and high optical efficiency, ideal for applications ranging from materials processing to medical technology.
  • SAC Lenses: Different to most single emitter SACs available on the market, FISBA SACs come with aspherical correction to reduce spherical aberation. This enables better beam collimation especially for small emitters.

The Challenge: Thousands of laser diodes must be perfectly synchronized and collimated to achieve the necessary energy density.

2. Blue FACs: Efficient Wood Engraving & Materials Processing

The market for blue laser diodes (approx. 450 nm) is growing rapidly, as organic materials such as wood absorb the blue wavelength much more efficiently than infrared radiation.

The Challenge: Blue laser beams tend toward strong divergence. To enable fine engravings at high speed, excellent beam shaping is essential.

Our Solution: Specifically optimized FACs for the blue spectral range with high-performance anti-reflective coatings.

3. Stage Illumination: Light Shows in a New Dimension

The Challenge: Generating extremely bright, sharply defined light beams (beams) that do not lose their intensity over long distances.
