To get your product up and running, you will need to download the installation software. Here you can always find the latest version.
To control your READYBeam™ in an automated environment, there exists a third-party python module on GitHub that will get you started immediately. We directly collaborate with the original author to ensure the reliability and compatibility of the software.
Our READYBeam™ also works seamlessly with third-party software provided by Inscoper. However, please note that updates to the software are managed by Inscoper, so we cannot guarantee its current status.

Applications
Flow Cytometry
The 2019 pandemic situation drove renewed interest and demand for Flow Cytometry solutions. Flow Cytometry has become a standard method in biotechnological research and in biotechnological process. It delivers up to 20 parameters with one measurement, and can be part of a highly automated system with over 100 events/sec. The resolution can be down to the singular cell level or to cell populations.
This makes Flow Cytometry one of the most powerful tools in modern Biotechnology with applications such as “rare event” detection in drug screening, biomarker discovery, or cell cycle analysis, to name just a few.
Proper illumination of the cells inside the flow chamber is a demanding task. The laser parameters, including the energy distribution, power stability, and overall beam quality need to meet stringent specifications to achieve clean signals for data analysis.
Besides the laser itself, you might be dependent on optical beam shaping elements for proper sample excitation within your instrument.
Our compact three-channel laser source READYBeam™ provides you an easy integration into existing and new Flow Cytometry systems for both fiber coupled and free space delivery options.
Fluorescence Microscopy
Early origins of fluorescence in microscopy date back to the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, it has progressed a long way. A newer development involving fluorescence, super resolution, has significantly shifted the resolution of optical microscopes below the Abbe diffraction of approx. 300nm. A development that has only been possible with highly monochromatic and coherent laser light sources.
The READYBeam™ is such a light source, or more precisely it is a configurable three wavelength fiber coupled light source in an ultra-compact housing. A selection of different diode combinations are available and customized solutions possible.
The READYBeam™ delivers a Gaussian beam from single mode, polarization maintaining fiber. The fiber can be connected via an FPC/APC connector which makes alignment as easy as the Laser operation itself. The colors can be switched and modulated independently. While “off” the diode is in a true dark state and does not contribute to fluorophore bleaching.
DNA Sequencing
Literally, the genomic age (genomics) started with the possibility to determine the linear base sequence of a single-stranded DNA. The genomic code is the blueprint for proteins that are built from amino acids, virtually participating in all cellular processes.
With highly automated fluorescence-based techniques more than 50,000 genomes could be deciphered so far, including the human genome which was completed in 2003. Our multi-wavelength laser module, the READYBeam™, offers the most commonly used excitation lines for sequencing applications. They provide high quality TEM00 profiles, polarization extinctions ratios of 100:1, and alignment-free adjustment via an FCP/APC connector.
Microfluidics
The behavior of liquids in small channels differs from macroscopic systems, as the relationship of surface to volume increases. The physics of that behavior is described by microfluidic concepts.
Moreover, microfluidics is also a technology with the ultimate aim to replace complex and bulky laboratory processes on a miniaturized scale, Lab on a chip.
Small high precision optics and laser sources that complement microfluidic instrumentation are a key competence of FISBA.
With our turnkey laser module, you get a compact, easy-to-integrate and configurable laser source that can be customized to your desired requirements.
Projection
Laser projection systems are a very general term for devices that use a laser source for pattern generation. Industrial applications of such lasers can be found in the textile, carpentry, boat & aircraft assembly, logistics, and construction industries.
FISBA laser modules and beam shaping optics can be customized to your specific application.
Display & Holography
Light modulators play a central role in various application areas such as image display, wavefront control, general beam shaping, and holography.
This can be achieved either mechanically using micro-electronics-mechanical-systems MEMS, or optically by using liquid crystalline substances.
FISBA laser combiner are used in research applications and customized projects. We can customize it according to your requirements.
